Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is composed of four members: James McClure, Daniel McClure, Thomas Secchiaroli and Lance Conte.

James McClure, President and Treasurer of the PALS Foundation, was born in 1983. Raised in Waterford, Connecticut, James was a member of Waterford High School’s Graduating Class of 2002. Upon graduation, he continued his education at the University of Connecticut, where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. He currently is a student at the Quinnipiac School of Law and operates a business he founded, www.topsoildirtcheap.com. Aside from handling much of the day-to-day operations of the PALS Foundation, James owns his own business, USA Topsoil LLC and is the Office Manager for his father’s company, McClure Construction. In his spare time, James enjoys coaching youth sports in the community, including Waterford Preteen Basketball and Waterford Babe Ruth Baseball.

Daniel McClure, Vice President of the PALS Foundation, was born in 1987. Raised in Waterford, Connecticut, Daniel was a member of Waterford High School’s Graduating Class of 2005. Following graduation, Daniel decided to pursue a Degree in Psychology, currently studying at the University of Connecticut. Daniel splits his time during the summer, working construction for his father’s company, McClure Construction and working for Cross Sound Ferry. Daniel also spends time coaching local youth sports including Waterford Preteen Basketball, Waterford Babe Ruth Baseball and Clark Lane Middle School Basketball.

Thomas Secchiaroli, Secretary of the PALS Foundation, was born in 1981. Although currently residing in Niantic, Connecticut, Thomas was raised in Waterford, Connecticut, and was a member of Waterford High School’s Graduating Class of 1999. In addition to managing the secretarial duties for the PALS Foundation, Thomas has been a member of the Shipman's Fire Equipment Co. INC Staff for a number of years. A proud father, Thomas loves spending time with his young son, JT. He also enjoys donating his time coaching in the Waterford Babe Ruth Baseball League.

Lance D. Conte, CFO of PALS Foundation, was born in October, 1981. Raised in Waterford, Connecticut, Lance was a member of Waterford High School’s Graduating Class of 1999. Upon graduation, he continued his education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he was awarded Cum Laude status and received a Bachelors of Science Degree. In his spare time, Lance enjoys participating in sports, fishing/boating and giving back to his community.
